Keen Eye Anglers invites you to learn more about our locally owned and operated guide service. When you join one of our high-quality, specialized fly-fishing experiences, you’ll have access to prime fishing areas on the Upper Kenai River, particularly the remote and wild stretch of water known as the “Kenai Canyons” within the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge. Our unique destinations, local Alaskan knowledge, and personalized service set us apart from other outfitters from first correspondence to first fish landed! As owner of Keen Eye Anglers, I take great pride in my profession as a full-time Alaskan fly-fishing guide. I am committed to responsible business and guiding practices, contributions to Alaska’s fisheries management issues, and acting as steward and ambassador for the Upper Kenai River and its watershed. A fisherman my entire life, I’ve dedicated the past 15 years perfecting the art of fly-fishing. Curiosity to explore new flywater has led me to the warm waters of the Caribbean and Hawaii and countless rivers and lakes across the continental United States and Alaska. Through these collective experiences, I have gained the knowledge and capability to effectively teach and guide clients, specializing in my home waters of the Upper Kenai River. An active advocate for river safety and education, conservation, and stewardship of the Kenai River’s world-class fishery, Keen Eye Anglers is proud to be involved with these fine organizations -- Trout Unlimited, Alaska Fly Fishers, Kenai and Russian River Streamwatch, Kenai River Guide Academy, and the Kenai River Watershed Forum.
